Texas Education Agency (TEA) Commissioner Mike Morath toured Harmony Science Academy–Katy Elementary and Middle school in celebration of being named one of the inaugural Lone Star Ribbon Schools for 2025.

Each year, Character.org certifies schools and districts at the state level that demonstrate a dedicated focus on character development, which the organization says has a positive effect on academic achievement, student behavior and school climate. 

Harmony Public Schools has debuted its newest logo for the school's upcoming campus in the Bridgeland community of Cypress, and residents of the neighborhood may recognize a familiar feature hidden within its design.

Texas-based Harmony Public Schools was honored with 43 awards for excellence in school communication and marketing this week by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), making the Texas charter school system the most award-winning public school of any size or any kind in America.
