PSAT test is on October 16th, Wednesday. Make sure you have a good breakfast on that day.
The test will start at @8:00 am sharp. Students will not be accepted to test after arriving at 8:10 am. Only 10th & 11th-grade students will be provided calculators.
If you have your own graphing calculator, you can bring it for the test. Our campus will be closed to visitors during testing.

Goal/Purpose: Overview of Title I regulations and overview. During this meeting, we will review, evaluate, and update/develop a written Parent and Family Engagement Policy (PFE) and the School-Parent Compact.

HSA Dallas will organize TACROA College Fair with more than 50 colleges on September 13th Friday. Students will visit all colleges tables to collect flyers, brochures and promotional materials from admission counselors. The admission counselors will give information about colleges, college life, activities, the application process, scholarship, and financial aid opportunities.
High school students will explore colleges and career opportunities during the fair. This program is a great opportunity for seniors and juniors for their college application and decision process. We invite our interested parents to come and visit the College Fair.

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for kindergarten and newly-enrolled students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening. Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may refer them for assessment.

We are excited to announce our Gifted and Talented (GT) Program at Harmony Science Academy kicks off in September! We offer a pullout program for 6-8 grades.
If you have been in the GT Program this would be a great place to come and ask questions.
We give students MAP tests to determine your child’s instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in the areas of Math, Reading, Language and Science (6-8) and Math, Reading, Language (9-10).
Middle School Parents and Students!
There will be Meet the Teacher on Thursday afternoon from 3:00-4:00 pm.
Parents may arrive starting at 2:30 to wait in the cafeteria, where they can visit with admin, coordinators, and counselors and get information on upcoming events for the year. Please come to see our wonderful teachers.
Middle/ High School Student Orientation will be Friday, August 9th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Please come by to fill out yearly forms, sign up for clubs, purchase or pick up uniforms, etc. We look forward to seeing you.

Our teacher’s hard work is recognized annually by major publications, such as US News Best High Schools, and noted children’s advocacy groups.”
In addition to a base salary increase of between $3,500 & $5,000, teachers will be awarded a stipend of $1,000 if they have between 5 and 9 years of classroom experience. Those with more than 10 years’ experience will receive $2,000. “We see this as an investment not only in our teachers but in our students as well,” Ay said.
The new salary schedule follows Governor Greg Abbott’s signing of the $11.5 Billion school finance reform package. Harmony chose to target additional funding into pay & benefits for teachers and staff. These increases have been presented to the HPS Board of Directors, and will be up for approval after receiving regulations from TEA.
