The ESL department will sponsor a brief information session on Thursday, May 3 at 8:00 to 8:45 in the cafeteria of the elementary school.

Topics to be discussed are: understanding TELPAS scores and exit from ESL.  Summer learning loss, “summer slide,” and locating summer free lunch programs offered throughout the area.

Please come and enjoy these topics and have some coffee, orange juice, and pastries with us.  We look forward to seeing you there.  Families of students at all grade levels K to 12 are welcome to attend.

April 13 2018, Friday—Make up day

The test will start @ 8:00 sharp, please be on time.

Please note that our campus will be closed to visitors on testing days (4/10-4/13), and we apologize for the inconvenience.
As a friendly reminder, it is important for your child to have a full night sleep and have breakfast during this time frame so that they are physically prepared for the test.

Academic Calendar 2018 – 2019

HSA Dallas will be organizing a Parent Academy on Saturday, March 24, from 9:00 am-12:30 pm at HSA Dallas High School building.

This Parent Academy is for you, our parents, to come and receive training in subjects like Understanding State Tests & Assessments, Social, Emotional & Behavioral Support, Extra-Curricular Programs, College Readiness, literacy, and much more!

It is our goal that the Parent Academy will empower our parents with the skills and resources they need to strengthen their children’s educational success.

Note that childcare will be provided.

Math Olympiad Winners!
Congratulations to Mr. Irmak’s Math Olympiad team for coming in 3rd in the North Texas Regionals and took 2nd place at the Texas Charter School Math Olympiad in Austin!

Friday, February 9th is Parent/Teacher Conferences.
The students will be dismissed at 12:58.

HSA- Dallas High School counselors have started a reward system for students that exemplify positive behavior such as helping and supporting peers and teachers, acts of kindness, and demonstrating responsibility in class. When teachers observe these positive behaviors, students will earn a reward ticket to exchange for small prizes such as books, headphones, snacks, and more. We want to recognize all the great things students do every day that make HSA- Dallas the best! Thanks for all you do!
